Rinse and dry the chicken carcass. Rub the chicken well with the spices, not forgetting to coat the inside as well.

Leave the chicken coated with spices to marinate for 1-2 hours. Prepare a jar; it should not be high and the neck should fit well inside the chicken. Pour about 1/4 of the water into the jar and add black peppercorns and bay leaves to it.

Prepare a baking sheet or rack for the jar of chicken. Place the jar on it and put the chicken on the jar. The top skin of the chicken must be closed and secured with a toothpick so that the water vapor with seasonings remains inside.

Tip: to make it easier to clean the grease off the baking sheet or stand later, add salt to the bottom.

Place the chicken in a cold oven so that its top does not touch the top wall of the oven. Turn on the oven at 180 degrees and bake for 1.5-2 hours until done.

You can place the potatoes on a sheet or stand and they will bake along with the chicken, then you don’t need to add salt, of course.

Shish kebab - just the word starts to make you salivate. Delicious, juicy, fried. Is it possible to prepare it at home? Can! I'll tell you and show you how. The recipe is simple, but very successful.

Ingredients:

  • One chicken fillet
  • Bacon - 200 g
  • Onion - 1 pc.

For the marinade:

  • Lemon - 1/2 pcs
  • Ketchup - 2-3 tbsp. spoons
  • Mayonnaise - 2 tbsp. spoons
  • Onion - 1 pc.
  • Salt, spices - to taste
  • Water – 120 ml

To begin, prepare a three-liter jar and wooden skewers; first you need to soak them in water so that they get thoroughly wet.

Chicken for barbecue must be fresh; frozen chicken will not work for barbecue. Cut the chicken into portions and separate the flesh from the bones. You should get medium-sized pieces; place the pulp in a bowl for marinating.

Cut the peeled onion into rings and add to the chicken fillet. Pour seasonings into a basin with meat, add salt, add 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise and 2 or 3 tablespoons of ketchup, this amount is calculated for 1 kg of chicken fillet, squeeze out the juice of half a lemon and mix everything well. Leave the basin with the chicken to marinate for at least an hour, if this time is longer, even better.

Lemon juice will speed up the marinating time of the meat and add a piquant taste to the kebab.

Cut the bacon into thin slices; it will give the kebab an additional smoky flavor.

We begin to put a pillow of onions in the jar; to do this, cut the onion into half rings and place it on the bottom of the jar. Onions will add juiciness to the kebab.

Thread the chicken onto skewers alternating with onion rings and slices of bacon. Try to press the pieces very tightly against each other, this way more moisture will remain in the meat and the kebab will not be dry.

Pour half a glass of water into a jar of onions. Water is needed for heating and the steam will cook the kebab.

Place the skewers with meat in a jar; if the length of your skewers does not fit into the jar, you can cut them. Be sure to cover the jar with foil. Place the jar in a cold oven, then turn it on to 200 degrees and bake for 40 minutes until done.
