The burgundy color is characterized by a rich and luxurious look, so it is perfect for those who prefer expensive and high-quality things.

A room using these colors has all the qualities of red, but looks somewhat muted, and therefore does not have a negative impact on the nervous system person.

The burgundy color gives the room a festive feel, adds solidity and luxury.

However, in addition to such significant advantages, this color also has disadvantages. It must be used with caution and the right shades must be found that will go well with it.

Burgundy color is too versatile, and therefore requires proper coordination of the entire palette of the room. For this reason, you should study the photo and figure out what you can expect from using burgundy color in the interior and what color combinations should be avoided.

Depending on your preferences and goals, you can choose the best options.

Features of burgundy

Burgundy itself is a warm shade, so the ideal and win-win option is to combine it with cream, light gray and beige.

Advice! You should give preference to such options if you are not sure that you want to see other, more saturated colors.

For those who want to add a touch of luxury, it is better to combine burgundy not only with neutral beige shades, but also with gold and metallic silver elements.

Black combined with burgundy will help you create a business style. Of course, for such a combination, the homeowner needs to have some courage, since in this case it is necessary not to overdo it and create an interior in which the room will have a solid, but not gloomy appearance.

Keep in mind that the black and burgundy option is not suitable for every room. For a relaxation room, it is better to give preference to light colors and use shades of red only to divide the room into zones.

Burgundy can be combined with dark green and olive. However, this combination can be tiring, so it is better to use it in those rooms in which a person spends little time, that is, in the toilet and bathroom.

The main condition that must be observed when using burgundy color is measured use, with a sense of faith. You can select it for all rooms, but use it with special care in the nursery and hallway.

You can not only paint the walls in this shade, but also purchase various interior elements, for example, poufs, a sofa. Be careful: Excessive use of burgundy can destabilize emotional state . In order for the psychological state to be stable, burgundy should be combined with calmer colors.

How to use burgundy in different rooms

Hallway

First of all, when a person enters home, he finds himself in the hallway. An unobtrusive solution would be to purchase a burgundy-colored pouf or a small rug. Basically, the layouts do not provide for a window in this part of the apartment. Therefore, it is better not to paint the walls burgundy, so as not to create a feeling of oppressive atmosphere in the cramped space of the hallway and corridor.

Living room

This room is a room where you can relax and receive your guests. The hall or living room can be made colorful and bright, which will cause admiration, and burgundy color in the interior of the living room will be very useful.

Burgundy curtains in the interior photo

You can use both certain elements in this shade and decorate walls with it. To ensure that the space is not too dark, you should give preference to decorating only one wall with burgundy and maintaining this color with small decorative elements or certain large objects.

Burgundy curtains will look great in the interior; a fluffy carpet in this shade will also highlight the owners’ sense of taste. In any case, such a color accent will attract attention and make the room design stylish, so a living room interior in burgundy is a good solution for a modern, colorful design.

Advice! A burgundy sofa or armchairs will add special luxury to the interior. In this case, the pillows on the furniture should be of an opposite, but compatible color from a light palette.

Children's room

As mentioned above, using burgundy color in the interior of a children's room, even with a combination of a lighter palette, is undesirable if you are not sure that you will not overdo it.

When the desire is great, you can use stains in burgundy color, then the interior will not seem gloomy, and the combination of different colors will look more bright and unusual.

It is worth paying attention to the purchase of the following children's interior items in a dark red shade: table lamp, armchairs, poufs, beanbags.

It is not worth making burgundy walls in the interior of this room, as this can depress the child’s psyche. It is best to choose beige, milky, or ivory if you intend to combine them in the future with other burgundy elements.

Bordeaux in the bedroom

As you know, the bedroom is a relaxation room for the owners. Here you can relax both soul and body, so everything should contribute to this. You should also select paints for interior decoration in this room with care, as in the nursery.

Burgundy color in the bedroom will look acceptable if used in separate elements. Burgundy furniture should be limited only to the head of the bed. You can add burgundy by purchasing a bedspread in the recommended color. As for the material, to maintain the pomp of the interior in textiles, it is better to give preference to silk with gold embroidery.

As decoration, you can use stylish curtains, which can have light patterns. You already know what colors burgundy goes with in the interior, so choosing the appropriate accessories will not be difficult.

Kitchen room decoration

A kitchen in burgundy color looks very luxurious. Considering that most housewives spend a long time here, this color will be conducive to creating real culinary masterpieces and royal dishes.

For this room, you can safely purchase the entire furniture set in these colors: they will be more appropriate here than ever. In addition, you can use different combinations of colors with burgundy. You can use both dark and light colors: it all depends on what you like best.

Remember! If the kitchen is not very large, it is better to give preference to a combination of burgundy with light shades, as otherwise the room may become too dark and depressing.

The width of the windows should also be taken into account. If natural light regularly enters the kitchen, you can safely combine burgundy with black or brown. Such a kitchen will look pompous and luxurious.

Bathroom

In the bathroom you can combine burgundy with other colors. The priority is a combination of snow-white and milky with a dark red or beetroot shade.

Considering that each person is not in this room as often as, for example, in the bedroom, you can use this color duet of burgundy and white when laying tiles.

You can look at different patterns and dilute the dark color with a sandy, mint shade. If you only want to add burgundy accessories to the design, you should purchase a burgundy rug, towels and curtains, and leave everything else in neutral white.

Burgundy compositions in the interior

A universal option is a combination of burgundy and gray. It looks great when creating strict decors.

The following composition is also popular: expensive furniture, elaborate decorative items and antiques. If these items are present in the room, you can safely add burgundy paints. It is advisable to combine burgundy exclusively with brown.

Despite the fact that the use of burgundy in the interior is luxury on the verge of foul, it introduces notes of wealth and elegance. It is no wonder that many people love this shade as it is the epitome of elegance and splendor.

Remember: Burgundy must be used and combined with other colors very carefully, then the result will be exactly as you expect.

If you cannot do this yourself, it is better to turn to professional designers who can combine different colors in the design of the room, which will make the interior flawless.

You can talk at length about canons in design, but every day the existing canons are becoming less and less stable. Aesthetics and harmony, balance, colors, materials brought together in order to obtain such a long-awaited result are the essence of your knowledge, practice and self-development. My motto is to learn, see, touch something new every day, and I am sure that this is the only way to stay on the right course in “high design.”

Carmine, lingonberry, ripe cherry, Bismarck furioso... Do you think I'm crazy? No, these are just shades of burgundy, rich and bright, muted and deep, fierce and cozy. I couldn’t pass by this color also because it took over everything, becoming the main shade of 2015 according to the Pantone Institute. So, let's figure out what burgundy color goes with in the interior.

Perhaps it’s worth starting with the fact that burgundy is a rather specific color. Being a symbiosis of red and brown, on the one hand it gives comfort, and on the other hand it kindles passion.

Brown, with its inherent monumentality, carries traditionality and confidence, but in large quantities can cause fatigue.

Red is life, burning fire, youth and love. It is emotionally strong, stimulates vigorous activity, and excites imagination.

Burgundy conveys to the interior the qualities inherent in red, but does it more softly.

Rooms in burgundy tones look rich and impressive, their atmosphere is filled with luxury and solemnity. The interior is characterized by “maturity”, solidity, and the absence of youthful enthusiasm.

Combine correctly

I consider the main allies of burgundy to be white, beige, cream, milky and light gray.

But these are not all color duets.

  • Golden and burgundy will instantly make the interior bursting with luxury and pomp. This combination requires a lot of space, so it is appropriate in halls and living rooms.

  • The combination with black is more often used for zoning a kitchen-studio, but for children’s rooms I would not recommend such a duo.

  • The combination of gray and burgundy in the interior is considered universal, suitable for any room. Light gray is appropriate in classic decors, suitable for the living room and bedroom.

The photo shows a combination of burgundy textiles and gray wall decoration in a bedroom design

  • The duo of burgundy and brown brings modesty to the fore. Having chosen such a tandem, refuse expensive furniture, pretentious accessories and antiques.

  • It’s hard not to notice the impressiveness of the interior, which combines dark green and burgundy. However, over time, this combination becomes tiring, so use it exclusively for rooms where you do not plan to spend a lot of time, for example, for.

  • The combination of pink and burgundy exudes tenderness and warmth. You can safely decorate a bedroom or children's room in these shades.

  • If you choose eco-style or country style, take a closer look at the tandem of burgundy and orange. Don't be surprised! You can actually get quite an interesting solution from them.

Know your place!

Hallway

She greets us first and forms an impression of the owner. In most typical apartments, hallways and corridors are not abundant natural light and area, so choose rich burgundy only for decoration.

This can be a comfortable soft ottoman or a floor mat. For such a small space this will be enough.

Living room

In such a room, burgundy can be given all the reins. If the area of the room is small enough, choose burgundy to decorate the accent wall; both wallpaper and textured plaster will look equally attractive.

Burgundy accessories, such as lampshades, carpeting, bedspreads, window textiles and furniture upholstery, will help bring the interior together.

Children's

The use of burgundy in a nursery is a controversial issue, causing a lot of discussion. I would not recommend painting large areas (walls, ceilings, large furniture) dark; opt for accent use in decor, lighting or textiles.

An excellent alternative for a nursery could be a shade of strawberry jelly, matte and diffused. As a complement, use light green and turquoise.

Burgundy goes well with white in the Provence style. If a little lady agrees to an abundance of ruffles and bows, why not?

Bedroom

Burgundy fills the bedroom with passion. It can be safely used in the design of bed headboards, window textiles, bedspreads and decorative pillows. Oh yes, night lights with burgundy lampshades will look great against pastel walls.

If you plan to combine burgundy with white, use the principle of horizontal division.
In this case, a dark shade is used in the lower part of the room, a light shade in the upper part.

Kitchen

  • When choosing burgundy as the main color, dilute it with milky and beige tones so that its amount does not exceed 50%.
  • You can also play with contrast, for example, choosing green as a second color.

  • As a complement, use woody shades, creamy and diluted pink.
  • You can add blue to grassy shades. Due to the fact that burgundy contains a little blue, it goes well with blue tones. You can balance the rich duet by using gray, white and black.

Bathroom

Burgundy color in the bathroom requires a careful approach to choosing style and accessories. If you don't plan to limit yourself to a couple of burgundy towels or a rug, choose a classic style that involves the use of natural materials.

Combine burgundy with chrome bathroom fixtures, massive mirror frames, and dark rattan wicker baskets.

Several interesting burgundy projects

And, of course, according to the good old tradition, I offer you several ready-made options interiors in which burgundy was chosen as the accent color. Let's get started.

Roman holiday

So, I saw an apartment in a house built in 1930, which looked more like a warehouse of junk and furniture, seasoned with a complete cacophony of styles.

The only thing that gave me hope for a bright future were two huge windows overlooking the old center of Rome.

The main wish of the housewife is a partial unification of the kitchen and living room, which would not expose the kitchen chaos. It was for this purpose that a double-sided bookcase was installed.

For color zoning, a burgundy color was chosen, which very well matches the red suspended ceiling.

The living room has a comfortable sofa and a gigantic wardrobe filled with books and magazines.

The burgundy theme continued in the bedroom; above the bed there was an interesting lingonberry-colored shelf, and on the bed there was a bedspread with an ornament.

The bedroom is separated from the living room by a sliding door, which does not take up extra space when solving the issue of privacy.

A designer table and chair upholstered in painted fabric settled in the hallway.

Fireplace and lingonberry kitchen

Do you think it's classic? english style and Armenian folklore cannot exist within the same walls? You are wrong! And I will prove it to you now.

The main idea in the design was patchwork, combining textures and colors. The compositional center of the living room is a seven-meter fireplace, which in its entirety evokes the spirit of old England.

The main shades are ocher, scarlet, beech and mahogany, bottle and lingonberry. All this motley color fraternity is united by a floral print.

The decor of the fireplace uses a solar symbol and frieze elements from the Yerevan Opera.
But the tiles themselves were made in Gzhel.

The fireplace tiles are made in two shades - white and milky, due to this the surface does not look flat and shimmers a little.

For kitchen set I chose a complex red, which I found in the catalog of the German factory Rational. Bright pops of color are balanced by light walls. The same combination of bottle green and red is used in the living room.

The suspended structure located above the kitchen island deserves special attention. Thanks to it, the space is balanced and the room does not “creep” upward. The walls are decorated with bright patchwork created from wallpaper with various floral patterns.

The flights of stairs are painted in the same bright color. Thanks to this, it was possible to beat the column, which was comfortably, but completely out of place, located at the entrance.

Summing up

Everything that surrounds us has an impact on our mental state, and burgundy color will be no exception. In our minds does he recreate majestic historical paintings and heavy interiors? Why?

After all, it is considered the color of creative people, a color that awakens imagination. The thing is that this particular shade was most often used in creating castle interiors, hence the association.

By the way, the name of the shade itself was first used in the 18th century and originates from the French “bordeaux”, dark red.

Well, my cranberry-flavored burgundy opus is coming to an end. But before I call it a day, let me ask a question: how do you feel about the burgundy color scheme? Are you ready to let it into your home? Share your thoughts in the comments, but all I can do is offer you a very interesting video in this article.

Burgundy color in clothes is the credo of a temperamental woman. It enhances its magic and adds sophistication. Let's add accessories and makeup, and the image of the femme fatale will forever remain in our memory.

For almost any woman in any century, her appearance, therefore, the beauty industry has developed to immense limits and now it is difficult to navigate it without special knowledge. This site dedicated to color will help you understand color, which will allow you to make an informed choice of colors that best suit the moment and your appearance.

Burgundy color in clothes, makeup and accessories is the most necessary information for creating a beautiful and impressive image of an attractive woman.

The article is the first part of this topic, the continuation of which will be the combination of burgundy color in clothes and the selection of shoes.

The meaning of burgundy color

The enchanting shade of red amazes with its richness, mystery and amazing attractiveness. You can feel the inner strength in it, which literally pulsates, which makes the owner of a burgundy item more charismatic and self-confident.

The meaning of burgundy color lies in the subconscious. Colors that form a shade: and how vivid emotions and subconscious images are combined into a creative, non-standard, intuitive and leading position. An individual view, the ability to defend one’s position, lead people, calculate complex moves, always achieve one’s own goal and be irresistibly attractive to others are characteristic of people who prefer burgundy color. It would seem that with such chic qualities there should be no end to those who want to wear burgundy clothes, however, we choose one color or another based on inner world and their desires, but not everyone wants to manage everything.

The burgundy color can be called insidious, because the dark subconscious of black is intolerant, irritable, and selfish. His desires are equivalent to the desires of animals: to win, seduce, take whatever you want, and the “red” component does not leave them at the level of fantasy, demanding embodiment. Therefore, women in burgundy seem more sexy and accessible to men: they awaken their fantasies and provoke them to action; men see in them intelligence, ardor and a desire to reveal themselves.

Although burgundy is a very attractive color, it does not appear in fashion often, but if it does happen, then there is no end to it. So in 2015, the main color of the year became a shade of burgundy; before that, for the last 5 years, burgundy color was not even included in the main palettes of fashionable colors. However, Marsala turned everyone’s head: there were much more publications and selections of clothes with this color than with other shades of the year.

The attractiveness of burgundy color lies in its ability to deepen due to the shadow, which thickens the colors. And if you add shine to burgundy, you get the impression that the color is full of a myriad of shades. The more folds, layers, elements, the juicier the thing looks. This effect can be achieved by coarse knitting, fleecy material or tailoring features. Complex evening dresses in burgundy look especially chic.

Shades of burgundy

Burgundy color is red mixed with black, the proportions of which may vary. In addition, gray, yellow, and blue can be mixed with them in minimal quantities, thereby forming many shades, both muted and bright.
The closest relative of burgundy is cherry color, the shades of which have a purple tint (with a significant admixture of blue).
Thus, burgundy color includes such tones as pink-burgundy, coral-burgundy, red-burgundy, bright burgundy, ruby-burgundy, dark burgundy, mahogany, ruby, marsala
All shades of burgundy are based on a red undertone.

The combination of burgundy color very much depends on its shades.

Is burgundy color right for you?

Burgundy color is universal. Most of its shades can suit all color types: bright, clean, dark, it is quite simple and complex at the same time. However, it also has paler shades.
So for “spring” colors, lighter, purer shades of burgundy, such as coral red, burgundy, strawberry jam, and maroon, are suitable.
For the “summer” color type - muted tones: burgundy, ruby, red orchid, marsala. For “contrasting summer” - in addition to the main ones (for the “summer” color type), dark shades are added: wine, pomegranate, berry jam, mahogany, burgundy rose, maroon.
“Autumn” is characterized by colors with a pronounced red tint: coral, burgundy, strawberry jam, burgundy rose, marsala.
“Winter” bypasses only muted shades, so its palette includes colors of coral, burgundy, wine, pomegranate, ruby, strawberry, berry jam, burgundy rose, maroon.

Bright, rich shades of burgundy are just a godsend for evening dresses. In these tones you can create a real masterpiece, filled with numerous shades of shine and deep shadows. In the evening light, this wealth magically shimmers before the eyes, captivating the audience.

Burgundy dresses are more an evening option than a casual option, although the second option is not excluded. Some styles can be combined into an office-club wardrobe, which gives the dress versatility and saves time on changing clothes.

As I already said: the more textured the dress, the more advantageous the color is presented. But if the shade of burgundy is quite pale, like pink-burgundy, then even if there is texture, it will be inferior to a rich bright burgundy color.

When considering burgundy dresses, it is also worth mentioning its properties to visually reduce volume. In such a dress you will always feel slimmer, and a well-chosen style will make your figure ideal.

Bright or dark burgundy shades add additional contrast to your appearance, so when choosing clothes of this color, fairly bright makeup is recommended.

Burgundy color in casual clothes

A strict, elegant style, often for mature women - the ideal use of burgundy color. (In principle, the meaning of this color predisposes to a formed character and worldview; it can end up in a teenager’s wardrobe by accident or because of aesthetic qualities.) However, this shade can also be included in the casual style palette, introducing into it an element of elegance and rigor.

In everyday style, burgundy color does not tolerate bright competitors next to it. It is much more harmonious to see it surrounded by neutral shades such as beige, brown, gray, black, white, denim blue, khaki. This combination gives the image a laconic and effective look.

Although burgundy color is not a basic color, it can play an important role in creating a compact, multifunctional wardrobe: having a set of basic items, it easily brings zest and style direction.

Burgundy color in evening wear

Burgundy color in evening wear dictates sophistication, claims to leadership and royal charm. It is positively influenced by proximity to any shiny material or varnished surface, but if we take it from metals, then gold is preferable to silver. In the evening version, combinations of burgundy with yellow shades, with bright blue and purple flowers. IN in this case the opposition of shades will be appropriate and colorful.

Burgundy shoes

The choice of burgundy shoes depends on the style of clothing (see above). It is unlikely that she will bring frivolity and carelessness to the image, but rather sexuality and confidence.
Burgundy suede shoes will look especially good when the shades shimmer from bright red to almost black tones. The law for all burgundy colors applies here: the more textured the surface, the more shades the eye sees, and this gives volume and inner light to the color.

However, in addition to suede shoes, you can find textile, leather, patent leather surfaces of burgundy-colored shoes, and each will have its own advantage in combination with different clothes. While bright burgundy suede looks dramatic, leather, patent leather, and glitter-free textiles can go with casual outfits in neutral tones. Textiles with glitter, varnish and rhinestones for an evening wardrobe.

Burgundy bags

A burgundy-colored bag is a bright element, standalone or supported by other things of the same color. Such a bag speaks about your character and supports your beliefs (see color meaning). A burgundy bag will fit well into a feminine business style and will complement any combination of clothes.
If this color of the bag suits your style and character, then it will serve and delight you for a long time.

Burgundy jewelry and jewelry

Burgundy jewelry and jewelry is a symbol of femininity and maturity, open sexuality, as well as wearer status.

Burgundy stones include some types of ruby, garnet, jasper, andesine, sardine, and coral. They are decorated into jewelry, beads, necklaces, pendants, earrings, bracelets, etc., which are intended for both evening and everyday wear.

Of course, an evening jewelry set will require you to wear contrasting makeup: dark shadows, bright eyelashes and dark lips. Clothing can either contrast (be lighter than burgundy) or play along with the main color of the jewelry in black, red or burgundy. Of course, burgundy jewelry looks more harmonious on brunettes, where dark hair color appeals to him; blondes can only afford it with bright makeup and other supporting dark colors in their wardrobe.

Burgundy-colored cosmetics are primarily lipstick, then nail polish and eye shadow.

Burgundy lipstick color usually speaks of evening makeup, as its richness and contrast in relation to the skin attracts attention, and the very nature of burgundy color carries sexuality and appeal. On brunettes, burgundy lipstick will look more natural, while on blondes it will look more impressive.
The choice of glossy or matte burgundy lipstick depends on how professional you are in applying color to your lips. In order to apply this shade as beautifully as possible, you will need to follow the contours perfectly: the clearer they are, the more attractive the lips look. Even with matte lipstick, this will not be easy to do, and to create shine you will need a whole “workshop” of tools, shades of burgundy and gloss.

Burgundy eyeshadow

Burgundy eyeshadow is an evening makeup that emphasizes the expressiveness of the eyes, making the color of the iris brighter.

Often burgundy lipstick is supported by dark eye makeup, and sometimes the presence of burgundy color there gives the image a fabulously mysterious tone. To deepen this effect, use shadows with mother-of-pearl: bronze, gold, copper tones. For a deeper color, pair with burgundy, use black, dark brown, gray, khaki green, gold and even white.
Bright burgundy shades will look good next to eyes of pure color: blue, brown, green, gray. Eyes of uncertain color are best combined with soft shades of burgundy, such as pink-burgundy or brown-burgundy.

Life is created for people, for enjoyment. It is full of feelings and emotions, fascinating colors, how does the burgundy shade look different on us and how does it “behave” in life?

Humans are the only creature whose eye can distinguish the entire palette of colors and shades. The human eye (like a calculating machine) can recognize the slightest colorful nuances, which makes life more beautiful and amazing. It's no secret that colors have a huge impact on the human psyche. They are capable of arousing a variety of emotions - from a festive mood to deep melancholy and feelings of depression.

With the development of man, the science of using color palettes in different areas of life has also developed: in the interior, in psychology, etc.

Colors are divided into cold and warm, soothing and exciting.

One of the most mysterious colors is burgundy. It is associated with sophistication and luxury. Thanks to its unique influence on the human psyche, burgundy color became a favorite of aristocrats; they decorated their rooms with the shade of wine and emphasized their individuality.

This color has penetrated so deeply into our everyday life that it has managed to create its own direction. It has been widely used, won hearts and has become one of the most sought-after shades for decorating a wide variety of accessories and small items.

Many modern women prefer hair. It is rich, gives the image a bright uniqueness and emphasizes the assertiveness of its owner, giving a great mood. When you decide to dye your hair this amazing color, you need to take into account that it can visually “age” you. Therefore, you need to carefully weigh and think through everything.

It has been used in the interior for a long time. It creates an atmosphere of stability and gives confidence. In the right “doses” it is suitable for decorating any room.

A guest room made in burgundy tones will create a festive, upbeat mood. But you need to take into account that if you “overdo it” with this color, then staying in such a room will become simply unbearable, it will become annoying and “oppressive”. Therefore, it is advisable to dilute it with beige, white and sand shades.

For the bedroom, it is recommended to purchase burgundy curtains or bed linen. Burgundy color for the bathroom is also an excellent solution, and the kitchen is its real abode. It helps increase appetite and can give plastic facades an expensive and impressive look. Peace and comfort will reign in such a kitchen. But here, too, moderation should be observed. To avoid the dominance of burgundy color and weighing down the overall image, the kitchen walls should be made in light colors.

A burgundy office or library will be the right solution for calm and fruitful work.

Even if you have a very light interior, you can liven it up only with small rich accents and bright details (burgundy pillows, a blanket, an ottoman, etc.). You can use it and find the best solution.

Both in art and in the interior, burgundy color looks very noble. It is appropriate for any occasion and is often used to decorate rooms at special events. This color came to us from France. This shade of red was named after a wine from the province of Bordeaux.

Can this shade be achieved by mixing certain colors?

Many novice artists think about how to get burgundy color when mixing paints. This is quite easy to do. You need to take red, yellow and blue colors. They are basic and are present in any drawing set. In order to get a noble shade of burgundy, you will need about three parts of a light red shade, one part of a muted blue color and just a little yellow. This will be quite enough.

There is another way to obtain burgundy color. To do this you need to take scarlet, brown and dark red paints. If you mix them, you can get a warm and slightly muted shade. To achieve a cooler color, just add black, dark brown or dark blue when mixing. This will eliminate the warmth, and you will get an aristocratic cold burgundy.

Are there many shades of burgundy?

This question can definitely be answered in the affirmative. The color burgundy is used today both in clothing and in interiors. And if we talk about the first case, then every fashionista will be able to choose a shade to suit her taste. Warm and bright variations of this color will suit passionate and confident women. You can wear this outfit to a special event or a social party. Of course, if you combine items of clothing correctly, burgundy can also be used in everyday looks. By using this color in your clothes, you will always look elegant and stylish, regardless of the circumstances.

For men and girls who are calmer in nature, muted shades of burgundy will suit them. These colors can be pink or blue. The most important thing to consider in this case is that it is better to dilute burgundy with calm and neutral tones. Clothes in these colors are perfect for creative and mysterious individuals who want to emphasize their mystery. Also, burgundy color can be used in evening dresses when going to the theater or restaurant. Currently, models on the catwalks advertise this color very often. Therefore, you can without a doubt wear a burgundy dress to a celebration. It is best to combine it with neutral jewelry that will not attract attention.

Color combination: burgundy and white

Combining colors is a rather complex science. If you decide to use burgundy color in your painting, image or interior, then you need to remember a few rules. Burgundy color is quite strong, so it needs a shade that will mute and calm it. This color could be white. Its combination with burgundy is very beautiful and festive, so it is often used when decorating rooms before the New Year.

What other colors can burgundy be combined with?

Burgundy can also be combined with light gray, olive or blue colors. But here you need to be more careful. If you use olive or blue colors as “helpers”, make sure that they are not bright. Auxiliary shades should be pastel and muted so that their combination with burgundy looks harmonious. There is one more trick that will help you look absolutely gorgeous. For example, if you are wearing a burgundy skirt, you can combine it with a blouse of the same shade, but using a light print.

Dark red color in the interior

The burgundy color looks great in any interior style. It is perfect for classics, vintage and even minimalism. If your interior is made in a classic style, then you can combine this color with gold. This combination is very popular and always adds a certain solemnity to the room. If the room is not very large or is not located on the sunny side, then light burgundy wallpaper will perfectly correct the situation. From this we can conclude that this shade of red can be used in the interior of a kitchen, toilet, bedroom and even a nursery. The main thing is to choose the right way to combine it with other colors.
